This painting was started back in 2016, en plein air, down in Warrnambool where i now live. The painting went through so many incarnations, it was crazy - That time for me was crazy. Little Mr Boxie is in there, and he really was lost - might have been a self portrait. The rocks became more than rocks to me (you might see something in them). I think one of the nicest things about this painting is up close, you can see all the changes that have been made. But from a distance it looks incredible. There is a real battle going on in this painting.
