'Again, again?'
$4,800.00
70 x 90cm Oil on Canvas
My work asks questions, narrative is somewhat sidelined by the seemingly un-related titles. Leaving the meaning of the work open for the viewer to read.
The evening is my favourite time of the day, as the sun slips below the horizon the light becomes softer, objects less sharp and the edge of everything blends. This painting is about the warm and cool lights - literally and metaphorically - if you look at the second image, you can see a little trail of lights drawing you into the closer city. Which has some distance between the furthest city with cooler lights...
This painting is framed in a charcoal matte deep edge frame
