I've held onto this painting for a long time, there are many things I love about this painting. There is a boldness and naivety to the execution - 2009 was a year of great big paintings. I remember working with dad to prime the canvasses and we used a spray gun - the only problem is the primmer ended up to thick on this one so there are small cracks in the surface, and you can see the stretcher bar outline. But the strength of the painting still shines. I love it. Feel free to make me an offer, I might hold onto it, or I might let it go. It's called 'Barca', I saw this when I was traveling through Europe in Barcelona. They had just started this building, you I am sure will recognise. I changed it a little...
