'Did you hear about the guy who..."

This luscious little postcard sized painting (12 x 17cms oil on canvas: I always think of the Heidelberg school when i make these) came from a walk along the beach, it was one of those beautiful evenings where the last evening rays were keeping the far sky faintly warm and the glow on the tent was drawing me in.

And... Look at those little chunks of paint. Yum.
